What New Does The 2021 Nissan Maxima Trim Levels Have To Offer?

The Nissan Maxima is the Japanese brand's most expensive and luxurious full-size car sold in the United States. It was their flagship model that got more updates for 2020 last year. The Maxima entered its eighth generation in 2016 with a new design philosophy and an abundance of modern technology. After getting some updates in 2019, the famous Asian flagship has adopted the latest front and rear style.

The new Nissan Maxima 2021 model year features a significant number of changes. Both S and SL variations are no longer available, and the 2021 Nissan Maxima trim levels comprise SV, SR, and Platinum trims. There is also a new 40th Anniversary Edition model with a unique aesthetic update based on the Platinum trim.

2021 Nissan Maxima SV

The only engine you'll get for the 2021 Maxima is the 3.5L V6 that produces 300 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque. It is combined with CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, and neither trim level offers the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. The 2021 Maxima will give you an estimated 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway, which is decent for this size vehicle.

In the 2021 Nissan Maxima interior cabin of the SV, you get dual-zone automatic climate control. This entry-level trim has some great features that are not usually found on trams above other vehicles. These include push-button ignition and automatic anti-glare back mirrors. You can also start a remote engine with intelligent climate control. This feature is sophisticated enough to help you handle the weather outside and make the cabin comfortable before stepping out.

At the SV level, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are available. The standard for SV are LED headlights with distinctive LED daytime running lights. These headlights turn on / off automatically. As you move through the vehicle, the taillights also incorporate the LED signature.

After moving to the infotainment system, you will see an 8-inch screen running Nissan Connect. It works on both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other technical features include Bluetooth, an 8-speaker audio system, SiriusXM advanced audio features, and Wi-Fi hotspots. It also has Nissan Home-Door Navigation, Nissan Connect Service with SiriusXM, Display Commander, 7-inch Advanced Display Assistance Display, Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant. There is one USB port and one USB-C port.

2021 Nissan Maxima SR

The SR 2021 is a faster version of the Nissan Maxima. It sits on a 19 "glossy black aluminum alloy wheel and gives you LED fog lights as well as a rear spoiler. Exterior mirrors are fancy with reverse tail function. The driver's side mirror itself also can fade automatically.

The seats for the SR are also upgraded. The driver's seat receives manual thigh support. You can also get memory capacity outside of the driver seat and mirror settings. The seats are what Nissan calls "climate-controlled," meaning they are breathable and warm. The seat material consists of high-quality Ascot leather and features diamond-quilted inserts.

Security gets an update for SR. it gives you smart lane departure interference and an intelligent monitor around the sight. You get an aluminum sports pedal on the steering wheel for the SR, as well as column-mounted shifters. These gearshift levers are always designed to be easily accessible, even when cornering. The suspension is geared towards sports, too, with screen dampers, large front stabilizer bars, and stiff springs.

2021 Nissan Maxima Platinum

If you want the best feeling in the Nissan Maxima 2021 then use platinum trim levels which provides even more luxury. It is installed on 19-inch machine-compatible wheels, and there is also an option to upgrade to 19-inch "Dark Hyper Silver." This trim level also has the rear spoiler on the SR One.

Inside the platinum are an electric tilt and telescopic steering column. Windshield wipers are sensitive to rain. You also get a practical rear window protector. If you choose the platinum trim, your memory settings include the position of the steering wheel.

Your rear seats have the option of warming up with this trim. The interior theme of this trim varies from satin birdseye to maple wood. For this trim, the infotainment system adds Nissan Connect services with a trial subscription. It allows you to send navigation information, send texts without wheeling your hands, getting vehicle maintenance reports, locking the car remotely, and much more.
